I'm moving on to other projects


When I started making this game in 2017 I was just playing with pixel art and inserting my own characters into the RPG maker Engine. I used characters from a student film I had made in school. Using just two characters I slowly started to build a world around them and populating it with more characters I thought would be fun or interesting.  Before I really realized I was in over my head with the scope of the game I had started. 

Over the course of 6 years I had worked on this game on and off, in that time I had moved several times including across the country and back, transitioned, and struggled to gain my footing in the working world. which is to say I am not the same person I was when I first started to make Feathered Quest. 

I worried I would never finish it,  I felt like walking away would be like walking away from a piece of myself I felt stuck and paralyzed. I have struggled with this but ultimately I have decided to move onto a new game in a new engine. Making Feathered quest I have learned so much about myself and game design. I am very proud of what I was able to accomplish without a real plan and I am excited to see where I go from here.
